Amelia Earhart, Rose Colored I. Magnin Bear, Growler, Very Rare Steiff 1993

Amelia Earhart is rose colored mohair bear from the limited collectors edition line. Not only is she a wonderful addition to a collection but she is also a solid investment that is rarely available. At the time I listed it there were no others available on line. It has a white tag on the ear and the style number is 999765. This was a limited edition of 1000 offered worldwide and only 650 were produced with the genuine leather flight jacket for I. Magnin in 1993.It does have the gold plated button in the ear and is well made in Germany of genuine mohair. Not only is Amelia fully jointed,  head, legs and arms she is a "growler," and makes a noise when laid down. (My jacket russell's think she may be a dog toy I'm keeping from them.) My impression is the rose color is very subtle,  at first I thought she was cream colored.
I read her original price in 1993 was 5.
I did notice one blemish,  some minor loss to the felt on the bottom of the feet. Otherwise, to me it looks excellent but please see all photos to judge condition for yourself and ask if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
